Took us ages to get the flame pic as well! The flash of flame only lasts about an 8th of a second and my mates camera kept missing it even on its fastest setting.
I'd like to go pro video the tailpipe on a nice twisty road to see just how much it flames. Just need to get a good quality body mount for the cam.
Paul.

ok ... the next friday 7th i will be crossing the middle of england with this car ¡¡
surely from Liverpool or Holyhead to Dover...to take a ferry or eurotunnel ....
what do you suggest to use? eurotunnel is a train?
how long it takes the ferries?
a nice party awaits me
tomorrow i will take a train,2 hours to Madrid, then to the airport, at 18:15 i will fly to Dublin....once there ,landing must be at around 8pm irish time, then if we have luck, i will take the car, papers, contract in the airport and will go directly to the ferries port... i hope to can take the one that starts at 21:30 to Liverpool.... 8 hours...but will can sleep and then start at first hour in the morning to drive to Dover... around 470kms.
then once in Calais (France) 1200kms in the highways to my home in Spain
i hope to come back the friday midnight or along the night or saturday morning...depending on how much we will rest
and this saturday is just my 30´s birthday¡¡¡ nice present¡¡RED Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI TME nº 16 of 250

Hey Rooco, for cheap ferries try http://www.norfolkline.com. They go from dover to Dunkirk which is just north of Calais.
Is this also the official S2forum ferry operator, and is used on most trips to the Nurburgring by many a member
If you miss your booked ferry they usually let you jump on the next one and they go very frequently.
If your driving from Calais area to Madrid you will be coming right past my place in France its about 50km out of your way, If you get stuck give me a shout!
Happy birthday in advance and enjoy the drive!91 S2 coupé - RIP

Eurotunnel is the best if you ask me, especially because you don't know at which time you get there due to traffic.
Trains leave every 20mins or so, you can even book up front and take an earlier train if available, happened to me couple of times.
What paperwork do you take with you regarding the car from the previous owner?
V5C form? Selling contract with autograph from previous owner?
British customs can be a real hassle...
