I have a prototype EGT module for the TDS-1 in my car at the moment, but it's not quite finished. I need to get a better probe; the one I am using grounds the probe tip to the downpipe, which seems to introduce an offset voltage. I haven't had time to work on that in a few months.
The software currently supports switchable units between kPa/PSI and Celsius/Fahrenheit. Only kPa absolute though; if you want relative boost it's only in PSIG.
I think your knock indication function would be better served by a big, bright LED or array of LEDs.
The MAP signal wire is definitely an issue. Are you certain that it is not populated in the ECU harness? If that is the case, the cheapest way to get around that would be to open up the ECU and solder a wire to the signal inside. Not elegant, and no doubt most people wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. Better would be adding that contact to the ECU harness. I don't know how feasible that is.
Finding a good absolute pressure sensor in the correct range (>=3 bar, <<100 bar) is not that easy, and I would need to calibrate the TDS-1 for a new transducer. Calibrating for the Bosch (and VMAP) transducers was one of the most tedious parts of this project. An external VMAP would of course work.
As to cost, well... even with the weak dollar it's a lot more than 30 pounds, the figure mentioned earlier in this thread. At the moment it's moot anyway, since I sold the last one I have in stock.

I was in Boston just over a week ago, on my way back from skiing at Sunday River.

i was really astonished and surprised at the moment i´ve seen that
