More work yesterday. Fitted the Servo, starter, A/C compressor and all the cables fittings and so on. Some better pictures than before:

Hopefully starting tomorrow. Just going to weld the downpipe and the wastegate outlet pipe. Had to make a NEW lower cambelt cover, the 034 oil pump wasn't designed for the ABY engine so I had to custom make one. Pictures of that tomorrow

I think for the Oil pump you must remove the tensioner. I may be wrong but double check this.

Nope, 2 different oil pump bodies (although the internals are the same), the earlier version (which it sounds like Prosty has got) has the boss for the idler roller and the bolt holes for the lower cover are spaced far apart, the later oil pump body has no boss (as the idler roller is seperate) and uses a narrower lower cover.
You cannot mix early/later upper/lower covers either. As Prosty has found out you need to make a new cover if you are using an early pump body with a later upper cambelt cover.

I assume you have tensioned the cambelt? If not you need to remove some metal from the pump body to allow the idler roller to adjust correctly.

Corey: Yes I noticed that too. Does 034 / quattronics sell an ABY oil-pump? I was aware of that the idler pulley had to be removed. No bigger problems there to fix the rest, I just thought for once that I could bolt something right on . But it only took me 1 hour to fix with the new plate and a little paint on it and smash away a part of the pump to fit the lower tensioner bolt. So no bigger problems. The car is 95% completed now. REALLY tired now. With the new plate and my new upper cam cover it looks stunning. Pictures coming next week.

I made an error in judgement with a piece of silicone so I have to go back to the shop tomorrow to get a longer piece. But the DP + WG is completed, only oil + water left. And hook up the ECU + MAP sensor. And plug in the battery.

How are you plumbing the twin dump valves to the inlet of the turbo?

And why did you decide to take the plumbing from the intake pipe?

This is something I want to do in the future so I am very interested in your setup.

Jamo: If you go on the hot side of the intercooler, the membrane on the BOV's will melt. After the IC the air is alot cooler and no / less risk of the membrane melting.
