Unfortunately as yet I've not done any data logging of egt's apart from the single sensor in the collector which is constantly logging, I rarely see temps of over 700c, but yes since I changed over to fully sequential injection/ignition, I could trim individual cylinders. The low egt's are courtesy of 20% methanol.

It seems the deeper I get into the tuning and logging aspect of the project the more I'm held back by the limitations of the ecu. It's not doing a bad job at the moment though but of do know of people that have jumped onto the syvecs bandwagon which is an awesome piece of kit but unfortunately well out of my price range.

DTA S100, it's a very good ecu just lacking some of the features high end ecu's have. That's more of a compliment than a complaint because for the money, about £1000, its good value imo.

Baz, you have some serious skills and a very cool Golf! Im currently running a much less sophisticated S2 setup in my VW T4 pickup -AAN mounted transverse, 240bhp @ 0.7bar, on a standard K24, absolutely love it.. but the new weapon of choice, which will hopefully be finished in the new year, is a T4 Campervan, with full AAN, race built, engine longitudinal, quattro running gear.. aiming for the Worlds fastest campervan record and to re write the rule book!

Think I mentioned it in an earlier post somewhere, I use five of these from vems

They have two outputs 0-5v (good for ecu's) and 0-10v which connects straight to a voltmeter.

The car has been in the garage all summer so far undergoing some serious work on the front end, I decided to stiffen it all up with diagonal bars, re mount the steering rack, delete the subframe and allow fully adjustable top and lower suspension mounts.





Should be back up and running next week
