Hopefully It might be somewhere near and running 11`s by 2008 inters! but i`ve allways got a high power systems nitrous kit laid in the garage doing nothing

What type of tubing did you use for the roll cage ?

The main cage is the minimum reqirement of 45x2.5mm CDS and the rest is made of 45x2.5 T45 steel, door bars and cross braces are made of narrower 40x2 CDS as these are not a requrement. I bought the main cage as a kit from custom cages for about £700.

the engine looks like it's leaning towards the offside.what's the reason behind it?

there like that anyway arn't they. dosen't make them as tall as a upright engine

All vag blocks are like this, never really looked into the reason behind it but i suppose a leaning engine will have a lower centre of gravity than a upright engine. Or maybe they just needed more room?

i know what it is now.it's because mine's a 3b and it's flat on the side of the rocker cover where the oil filler is.

I got a load of work done in the past few days that im pleased about so here`s the pics.
Mounted the haedlights and grill.

Corey got me the parts i needed. Gt35R, tail46 wastegate, all the flanges and vee band adaptor. Also there`s a chargecooler and the start of the IM at the back.

Started on the exhaust manifold.


Next im going to mount the wastegate not sure quite how tho. but when its all in position i`ll purge the manifold with argon and complete all the welding.





Thought id throw my mates westfield 2.0 turbo in for the fun.
