Thats my problem i need to tap into the manifold causing as little flow disturbance as possible. Most people jusy tap into the manifold like a t peice apparently this is bad practice because causes a disturbance right next to the turbine inlet. Im also going to start making them for my friends fiat turbo and he`s selling them on a forum. Maybe if enough people were intrested on here i could make a few for people on hereThe ONLY S2 Golf!

I agree with you gnutz2 the best I have seen on race engines has the waste gate feed pipe mounted so the exhaust gasses dont have to change direction, on most manifolds the port comes off at 90 degrees at best and gives uneven flow... no biggy on low powered engines blow say 600bhp:mischeif: lol! but more of a problem above.
How hard are you going to push that GT35??

Not too sure on how far a gt35 can be pushed on one of these engines i know the compressor flows about 60 lb/m of air but i`ve never tuned one of these engines before i suppose im looking for about 550 hp.The ONLY S2 Golf!

Update
Managed to crack on with the fabrication and got the shell ready for paint, I`ve just finished the inside and im reasonably happy but i think i`ll swap to standox paint for the extirior panels because i was`nt too happy with the paint quality i suppose you get what you pay for. The colour code is 00E55 which is british standard white, it`s basically the whitest white you can get.
i`ll post the pics of the shell fully sprayed later this week, you never know it might be on the road by next year after allThe ONLY S2 Golf!

Thanks for the appraisal. Any input to the build is appreciated
Im also looking for a 3b flywheel as im ditching the aby, i heard it`s a bit heavy and the 3b`s have a much better throttle response. i`d go for billet steel or alloy but i have a budget. The ONLY S2 Golf!

more pics
Ok got the shell sprayed now and im trying to get the shell rolling so i can spray the other bits in the garage, im also getting on with the engine so i can send it away to get bored and honed or just honed depending on how bad the bores are but they dont look too bad for 180k.
Also getting a sheet of polycarbonate so i can cun my own windows out, got a cossie bar and plate rad for the boot off ebay and i`ll make the cold air feed plenum for that out of sheet aluminium and exhaust the heated up air through the boot floor and under the car and loads of other stuff but i`ll get to it soon enough.
