Are you finding the cooling effect enough from the scoops?

I've sorted all kinds of little bits, i'm gradually working towards racing this year.

Reworked the cooling system in the boot the cold air no longer comes from the roof and the hot air exits through the back window. I had to cut the end tanks off the radiator and fabricated some better ones with the pipes in the position i want them in.

With the radiator i tried to get the airflow as smooth and unturbulent as possible by making diffusers on both sides of the radiator. I'm also fitting a lip spoiler to the tailgate which will effectively pull the air through the rad (youll see what i mean when it's done).

    I made a shortshifter.

Made a stronger back diff mount with polyurathane bushes.

    Made a hydraulic handbrake.

Fitted a brake bias valve on the rear line.

I also have a set of 215 50 16 toyo r888's to fit on the avus alloys off my blown s2.

Im not sure about using a 106 pump so i would not recomend it.

Basically the cars steering and brakes would work and feel fine so this confirmed the pump can supply enough pressure.

Only sometimes it would loose pressure so the brake pedal would go hard and the steering stiff. Also the fluid level in the tank would rise and fall all the time.

Maybe all it needs is a bigger resovoir tank or the fluid is overheating because i dont have a cooler and i dont even know if the seals in the pump can cope with VAG ps oil.

Anyway i have 1990's mr2 pump in the garage (this earlier type is only a pump and doesnt have a resovoir built in like the later ones) allready modified to fit on the car so i maybe testing this in a few months.

The sump was a bit of a fiddle to do but i could probably do yours if you drop me a PM.

How did you find the Power steering pump? i'm thinking of it as an option as I want to do away with the pump on the engine on my urq and use something like this. Do you have any pictures of what mods you had to do etc?

Just any normal 106 or something like a gti?

And how hard was it to do the sump baffle plates? would you be interested in doing some on a sump I have spare?

    Top work btw

    GOOD Job.
    Excellent quality.

Just as a General Knowledge question, I am trying to understand, is that a dual injection system on the 20V Engine?
    How does it work actually....
