I've never actually owned a 3b but people I know who have them rate them very highly. Some say its actually quicker than the aby.

The only "bummer" is that it feels a bit "bad" to do this work on a 3B instead of ABY. But will try and fit a 6 speed later on.
The weight differences between 3b and aby, is it just because of the transmission or are there a lot of different stuff?

Its 2 weeks of work, just pictures uploaded at the same time as I wanted to make a project thread but been a busy bee having vacation and everything
Not sure what to do regarding the headliner but I guess I will go for a company doing it for me even if it's ~500-500euro.
Kind of want it done so I can continue with the rest of the car, the plan was to fix the interior/seats, maybe get them restitched but over here it's so expensive compared to my budget that I think I will wait a bit, get the car road-ready with the KW v3 , 4 wheel alignment and get the number plates back on.
Then go on from there

Then it's onto start pressing in the Verkline bushings and mount it together, going to order KW v3 but so long delievery time now

Started taking out the headliner, scrubbed out the old glue.. such a .. nice and fun job
Refitting a new headliner fabrique is around 550euros++ so .. cheap..
Waiting for subframe etc, from sandblasting ,metalizzing etc, fixed the seat frame which were missing a djustable sliders front/back.
Searching for some other interior or something that works.Attached Files- IMG_20200805_132945.jpg (1.94 MB, 347 views)

Bought some new window-frame from a member on this forum (thanks) and refitted everything, to align the window/door was not a fun job.

After i bought it I realized it had some more flaws then expected, owner that sold it of course didn't know anything about that
Airfilter was missing, some more rust than mentioned, door lock on passenger door not working, el windows on the driver side not working.
All wheels had 4 wheel bolts instead of 5.. weird but I guess that's how it is.

LarsSkogstad - Audi S2 (3B) 1991 Coupe
So I am new to this forum
Just wanted to join in on the fun and make a project page for my car that I'm currently trying to restore/fix up.
It's not going to be a 100% original restoration, that I don't have the money or time for but I'll do my best.
Have had s4 c4 earlier etc but always wanted the s2 and was thinking that if I wait any longer now it will be too late to grab one.
So I bought the car quite cheap to be here in Norway, bought it un-seen and got it shipped down. Was sent a lot of pictures before I bought it
so I knew a lot of what was going to be needed done and as always some surprises showed up later on
This is how it was in the ad's;
