We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
hahaha, no! I like it all!
I just have the same mounts. I'm just starting to question if these are OK
for my V6 subframe. They are for the S2, so they might have the 40mm offset
built in that my V6 subframe should not need...

Hehe good good.
Oh yeah yeah they same in quite good quality. Im hoping they fit as well.. Since I've got the 3b. I was told these would work with 6 speed to get it correct height. Hope it will work out fine. hmm.

Just finished going through the thread, really impressive work done so far!
How did you fix the dented sills?
I’m excited to see your S2 freshly painted
They were hammered out to an extent and just let it be like it is, looks "decent" under and okay from outside.
But Im starting to regret it now , so me and a friend have grinded the 3M stuff down on the sils, gonna do more chassi work and tkae the rest with sparkel!
Then I will lay a new 3m 08800 coat on each sils then repaint the sils only and make a "splice" under. not noticeable if you dont see what you are looking for.
Really really uncessary but yeah.. we'll see.
Done some more stuff lately, choosing between gearboxes and some chassiwork. aiming for painting it soon when the weather is warmer. its about -17c atm.. too cold to bother heating up the 130m2 garage...
So not much progress been done lately, had covid and some sickness for a long time, will update some pics later.
We are redoing our workshop, setting up a paint booth and making space for 2 more cars, split the rent with 2 other friends to keep the cost down,
so more $ will get put into the audi
So, started to splitting up the old brittle plastic on the wiring harness in the engine bay. Will add some new later, might split it somehow and use some
Deutsch connectors, would sure make it more easy when removing engine later on.
Borrowed tool from my mom and dad so easy to split the plastic without damaging anything and it goes fast..
Had to do a work-around on the master brake cyl with the brakebomb-delete.
Mounting it like this currently and will see if it holds up, after all pipes were fitted it really hands in the air itself so no strain on the plastic of the ABS unit.
Fitted a tiny plate on the backside just in case so it doesnt crack.
