how is the sound from your exhaust ,,, ?

I have 3 inch cat ,,, 3,5 inch all the way ..farther bak before rear axel ,, big oval muffler ,,, then afer rear axel small round 3,5 inch muffler,,, simons mufflers. But way to loud. Talked with exhaust seller. I have a resonans sound that har super load at 2600 -3400 rpm after that ok. He said that 3,5 inch is to big. The flow at those rpms start doin some flow sounds for my s2 avant. So im going down to 3 inch all the way and putting 1 more big muffler at the end and removing the small one. Im changing to apple dampers ( now hansen racing ) ,, like the sound better ,, simons are to high pitched/loud.
The best is to put a damper under the front seats a bit after the downpipe , then it will remove the resons sound for shore , but he thinks that it will definetly help to go down to 3 inch and 1 big muffler instead for the small one at the end.

Yes, nothing specific for the 3B. The AAN Engine workshop manual is useful if you are doing any engine related rebuilding. I have the 3B wiring schematic and the docs for 3B to ABY conversion along with other docs on the gearbox and linkage. If you want any of them drop me a PM with your e-mail.

Well, you could try to find someone with microfiche and have it digitally copied. Then you could tell Bentley to stick it.

    Dear Lars,

First, thank you for contacting us and for respecting the copyright protections of our repair manuals.

Your frustration is understandable regarding access to the Bentley Publishers Audi 80/90 Coupe Quattro Repair Manual: 88-92.
We do not currently have this manual in stock, and I realize it is very hard to come by in the used marketplace.
However, this manual is still under copyright to Bentley Publishers and we emphatically do NOT grant permission to any other entity to reproduce the manual in full or in part, in any medium, including print, electronic, or other digital formats.

I will share your letter of concern and interest with my colleagues. Some kind of e-book or online version of this manual would make sense. We will look into the possibility of making that happen.

Please feel free to follow-up via our website / support center if you have not heard back from us on this matter by the end of the year.

    Sincerely,
    Janet Barnes
    Bentley Publishers

People are crazy, I bought it for 280 euros before shipping/tax. Which is ridicilous price in my opinion.

    Hey Lars,

i've been looking to get one myself, but the prices are absolutely madness. I bought the cheaper Audi 80 manual and have been using that. Also if you search on some of the car forums, there are a lot of scanned documents of the important sections of the book (also a lot of scanned pages on https://www.s2-audi.co.uk/)

Whenever you feel like selling, just look at the picture i've attached (price as of this morning)

So I've sent BentleyPublishers a long mail regarding the issue and asking if they can publish more copies of the book or make it as an e-book format.
Told them there are plenty of forums out there searching for this book and would like a copy.
I guess they will not, but I asked if there was possible to find a solution regarding copyright etc.

We'll see, probably gonna get a typical corporate answer from support desk that doesn't give a f.. any way.

Which is ridicilous in my opinion since they're not publishing it anymore and second hand is the only way to get it (if you find it).
Not going to sell it, would give it away for free for helping the community.
