Right now we have our own reasons why we stay away from the Athena copper gasket. But it may be that we have to use it in the soon coming future...

Using Elring gasket with code 230.521
Regarding the oil port, we have a guy in Estonia who re-does the oiling for entire head to solve the third cylinder oiling problem under high load. Perhaps Kiku can explain further what is done physically to the head.

Long time no post.
Unfortunately the last season ended with a big crack in the cylinder head - as big that it dropped oil pressure to near ~2bar at cold starts.
We discovered it when taking apart the engine and this finished the year season for me.
Fortunately this was all the damage and when tearing down the bottom end, everything seemed fine and Kiku was able to rebuild the engine with new cylinder head.
This year there were no compromises:- ARP headbolts replaced with even stronger ones from BScarperformance;
- Athena racing head gasket with metal fire rings;
- CatCams "Sport" camshafts
- Bosch 74mm e-throttle
- King bearing crank and rod bearings
- Additional sensors for exhaust back pressure monitoring
- Additional sensor for coolant pressure monitoring
Over the winter big Porsche brakes were fitted in the front + small paint corrections and ceramic coating to protect the paint.
Job well done and it was time for dyno again.
All upgrades proved to be successful and results were what we expected: 530kw / 905nm at the wheels
Dyno run video:
Backpressure sensors proved to be extra useful as it turned out we were way above the PT6062 turbo rating and it clearly showed very high backpressure in the manifold. Boost pressure was adjusted for it to be in the safe limits.
First competition of the year was a huge success! Managed to take home victory at the 1/8mile drag racing event.
Few videos from the event:
Car survived the event and waiting for next one in a few weeks.Last edited by karlz; 29 June 2022, 08:59.

905NM! That's some serious torque, must be absolutely wild!
