I am in middle of prepping RS2 manifold for welding and the key i have found is ensuring you create channels for the weld so on all of the cracks i have channeled, 20 dremel stones later!! and of course using cast iron welding rods is a must ..expensive but a mig will only do temp job for what i have seen on other EM

You should use only Inconel Wire to weld this Manifold, because of the high Ni consitens of D5s. Everything else is wastet Money and Time.

you can use the 600th series like Inconel 600, 601, 617 or 625 they all work good.
