I was just looking at this thread again. damn.. what was I thinking?
also it seems that half of my photos stored on photobucket have disappeared, which is really weird because I don't think i've accessed them for years

    thanks mate.
and aye.. story of my bloody life not getting time to do things. Took me about 6 weeks to pull a lock out of another car, swap barrels and fit it to the tailgate of my 16v. It was driving me daft when i had to keep using my key to open the boot.

I might just keep it at the back of the shed and see if I ever have time to experiment with fibreglass.
It's only been out round the corner to the MOT garage and back really. I don't want to tax and insure it until I have a couple of wee bits of trim finished off. Glovebox is on the way and I'll have a wee tinker about and get it looking spangly in the next couple of weeks. First decent drive will probably be up to Glencoe on the bank hol weekend near the end of may. Still trying to find somewhere cheap and cheerful for the 3 of us (that's me, the missus and son. Not me the missus and you steve ). In fact it doesn't even have to be Gencoe. I just want to see the north of scotland a bit and show the missus a bit of the country she's been living in for the past 4 years.
The original car came from Fortwilliam so it would be fitting to head back that way with a whole one.
Any suggestions for somewhere to stay anywhere north of Glasgow?

Gary - if i chuck it out i'll be sure to send that bit your way.

Dunno what the bumper is worth, but its just answered questions i had about mine, and the bits that are broken off/missing

Saying that, if you do bin it, can you cut one of the box sections of and send it to me so i can use it as a pattern to fix mine?
