FYI, the 90 panel fits to B4 Avant without any cuts made to it, you just need to trim the black plastic part out from the latch. Dest made a DIY in here somewhere few years back.

Finished up the front brake discs today. 993 turbo rings bolted up to freshly painted bells/hats. I cleaned up the bolts in the media blaster with some glass beads and then shot them with paint. Torqued each bolt to 8 ft/lbs in a "star" pattern. I will allow the paint to cure for a few more days before I mount them on the car.

3hrs to go

Currently waiting on a few parts to come in that will facilitate the motor and gearbox installation. i.e. motor mounts.
I've been looking forward to that for a while.
Again, this is a little random, but I have been sitting on these parts for a several years and I have been itching to do anything with the RS. So I pulled out my new radiator along with various other bits and "went to town".
The OE RS2 radiator from Audi. 895 121 251 S. Thermoswitch installed.

Part number picture

The thermoswitch up real close.
Part number 803 121 273

The lower radiator mount. Note the part number 893 121 273. ETKA has the bottom mount number and the side mount numbers swapped.

The side mount. again......note the part number. 803 121 273

The side mount screws into a captured nut on the side of the radiator as seen below.

The bottom mount threads into the bottom of the radiator. Attached the plastic fan shroud (893 121 207 H), complete with that wonderful 500w fan, to the radiator with 5 new 10mm hex head bolts (N 010 215 27).

It'd really nice to see that you are taking the effort to use all the original parts for your build and I see where you are coming from. Its ironic that 99% of the owners of these cars nowadays look to get any part or most likely even non original just because audi overprices everything.
There are very few parts that I would now go to audi to buy, just for peace of mind.Comment
I'll just buy 'em from the OEM King
