The engine is now in the car with the head and turbo installed Have also mounted the new stiffer valve springs. I also need to replace the radiator, because the pressure after the block cracked made it expand alittle

Looking good, what's that nipple you've welded into the block?

That is a water nipple in the back of the block. Diesels dont have these.

Ah so you weld a nipple in, mines machined opened and I have the ABY removable plastic nipple instead.

why does the s2 need this water nipple?

is it for cooling turbo? pardon ignorance

The S2 has the nipple, we are talking about stroker diesel blocks which don't have the same connections by default

ok thanks but what purpose does the nipple serve?

its probably crucial to the s2 for some reason so thats why you guys tap a hole for it when you do the strokers

i'd just like to know for what?

                  cheers

I dont understand what you mean? It's simply a coolant return from the block it has to be there d so that you can use the standard S2 pipework and cooling system.

IIRC it connects to the heater matrix

Car is now running Must break in the engine and then I will finish the tune on both pump fuel and E85. Hope I not break it again...

It is no water return, it is water feed
