        Ok, here we go.

        I had to use some extra length of silicon hose, as the supplied one wasn't long enough. So went from nipple on the inlet, down under the battery tray and through a grommet in the bulk head. That brought the hose out just behind the glovebox. Hose then joined to the supplied hose and routed up the the vents. Power for illumination went down to the feed that supplies the glovebox light.
        Pictures can explain the rest.
        Maximum boost is 1bar

        Big thanks to my other half Allie, who showed a surprising amount of dexterity getting that boost line through the bulkhead for me.

          Who was it that rubbished the TDI quattro idea? My Steph even struggled with a 1.2TDI in the dry.

            do yourself a favour and change all the vacum hoses on the left of this pic

            there is one also going to the IC, change them all, one tiny leak and a noticeable loss of power occours.

                Hi Jase, ref the front bumper, how does this fit on the standard 80, i see you made some brackets to fit the original ones, when i took my front bumper off the 80 to do the cambelt all i un-done was 4 13mm M8 bolts from behind the black foglamp trim and then pulled it off the runners on the wings, i picked up the S2 bumper from Crawford today and am still a little baffled as the two bumpers appear to mount differently, am i missing simething here or am i just being a bit Australian?

                Also where did you get the bumper grills from in the end, can't seem to find any used ones about, trying to avoid Audi prices too!!! Sure you understand!!

                Sorry for the bombardment of questions.

                Si.

                  try vagparts for the pieces, iirc they arn't too bad.

                  The brackets you can either search a scrappy for a coupe thats being broken or vagparts again, should not be expensive.

                      As the guys say above, the brackets are used on all Coupe bumpers (not just the S2/V6 type) S2 Coupe, S2 Avant and also Cabriolets. I only made one part of it because I couldn't find the proper bit's, lost in the house somewhere. Found them both weeks later buried in a box of bits.

                      Bumpers grilles I bought new in the end.

                      From the boys at vagparts.

                      895 853 683 B (01C) Centre grille - £25.93
                      895 853 667 E (01C) LH grille - £13.08
                      895 536 668 A (01C) RH grille - £13.08

                      Net total = £52.09
                      P&P = £6.95
                      VAT = £10.34
                      Total = £69.38.

                          This'll make it easier.

                          What you need (number 2 through to number 6). Click the pic for a larger image.

                          Number 2 bolts to the bodywork, the bumper is offered up and number 2 slots into the boxed section you can see between the fog and indicator cutout, then number 5 is placed over the side and a bolt passed through to the captive nut on number 2.

                          Number 5 was the bit I made, as said only cos I couldn't lay my hand on the real ones at the time.

                          Oh, brackets for the front, for both sides work out at about £28 all in from a dealers, not far off what Skull says in €'s

                              No problem mate.
                              You'll find those two large plastic brackets on your wings that the original bumper clipped/slid onto, are no longer needed as the S2 front bumper doesn't use them. Just remove them and discard.
                              The S2 bumper is held onto the wing round the side by way of two hexagonal shaped inserts that are popped into the wing and a bolt passed through the bumper. The hexangonal holes will be there for them on your wings, they'll just be empty)
                              The inserts can be bought, I didn't bother though, I just used a SS bolt and nut.
                              Here's the part number anyway, two each side needed. N 902 521 04

                                jas11n: i think you are very wrong about the wing brackets. he needs S2 bumper brackets, and looks like you need them too

                                here is a pic of 2 brand new s2 bumper brackets compared to an old audi 80 bracket.
