Bloody quick progress you are making! Where is the kit from? Are you going to be making your own sills or buying originals from Audi?

I have been looking at the pics you have just put up. It looks like you will have to put the transmission tunnel from the quattro into the Audi 80?

Well after a conversation with all the lads this weekend. I have decided to use the actual tunnel out of the S2 this way in the future if I want to use a 6 speed box it's little hastle to fit it...

Here is the product of tonights work....

As for the wheels what size are they? And did you consider the replicas from compomotive? I am trying to decide which to get for mine. Also does anybody know which wheels the keith edwards hill climb sport quattro uses as they look amazing!
I have managed to borrow a couple of rear sport quattro wings so all being well I shall be offering them up tonight and getting it welded up.

The wheels are 8.5 x 17 so I can get some decent size brakes under them. running 225/35 R17 tyres. I did not really consider any other type of wheels as I really like the Asev 'A' style.

A couple of pics to update you. I got the subframes back from the blasters today. The rear one needs a little repair around the control arm mounts. I am going to fully seam weld the subframes for a little added strength.

Here is a shot of the 2 halves pushed together.

And a pic of my new wheels...

What about the new kit Corey sells? They take Billies or Konis, but you need to butcher a set of legs. They're manufactured locally AFAIK, so it may be possible to get them sooner than 8 weeks.

This is the route I'm going down later in the year, with Konis to keep the cost down (as I already have them).
