I welded a couple of temp supports in from the shock turret / tank mount to the rear body. This was enough to stop the body flexing.

looking good buddy, do you have any pics of the inside the boot where you attached your spit-roast? was it just through the sheet metal or did you do anything to stiffen it up? i ask cause mine is about to go on a kebab, i was going to pick up the rear subframe mounts but if yours hasn't damaged it going through the bumper points i might look at that instead!

and only another £40 import duty to pay on it! Deep joy.

Now I need to do some saving to get the bottom end balanced.....

hi next outing will be san remo on 25/28 september ,would have loved to go to rallyday but the car will be loaded to travel and as its the 50th running of the event i have to go ,it will be the last time they run the 60 kilometer night stage ,got to be honest im a bit concerned 60 k in the dark flat out up narrow roads ,will wear 3 pair of pants i think ,will try to get out more in uk but venues not so forthcoming but promise to do my best glad you like the car regards gary
