034MS solenoid arrived last Friday, as well as a catch can kit and some small stuff, like solid lines to go to the WG from the solenoid

Nope nothing. It's probably a Perrin or something similar.

It's not a Perrins, the MAC valve isn't special they are all industrial valves.

I might get that 034 one

at least if you know the psi and wattage it is easier to set with vems, now that we have an example. not that any different would make a big difference though

              Yes, you whine too much.

The airbox is cut so much to fit, it's an open filter now. And no maf placed, no wastegate pipe from turbo and your 3 inch rocketlauncher. Yes, it's a loud car now.

I think the whining about the noise, will disappear when you give tha hungry beast the full boost.

                Hehehe, thanks homes

Nero and Jaco helped me in a big way replacing the clutch and putting in the lightend 7A FW. He has had it to work on Audi's for a very long time after doing his Konies on the S2 and my car now in 1 week time

Yes I also sometimes read this forum. Loads of knowledge here, respect.

Nero is right Bram, stop whinnig about sounds, you're car isn't finished yet. You should first place a waste gate pipe, now there is just a opening. That could explain the extra sound you're hearing. And as Nero already mentioned your airfilterbox is a bit shabby. Although I think that won't make much of a difference in sound if you would replace it with an open filter instead.

Sorry Bram, you'll have to get used to the flywheel/input shaft clatter.
I'll be surprised if you've never noticed the rattly old 3Bs.
Just hold the clutch in while the car idles if you want to stop the noise.

Our S3's 6kg steel SM flywheel is loud too. But at least it won't fall apart on the drag strip like the DM did.

For those of you who are going to connect the 034MS PWM solenoid, this is the correct nipple connection according to Javad:

                              - IN: out to atmosphere or air filter
                              - OUT: pressure from solenoid towards wastegate
                              - EXH: pressure from turbo

It is different then I initially expected it to be.

That would be the setup if your going to only going to control the lower chamber only.

Aren't you going to use the upper chamber also?
