sorry for that too ! must be paintfull to damaged the car u built,
sorry to say but S2 coupe are not the car to push too much in corners, nasty handling, bad wheight distribution and once the back looses grip, u r in for a bad time.
          S2 avant, RS2 got a better handling !

so don t despair, rebuilt the car and stick to drag race !

          all the best

Ouch, sorry to read this Aron, Did you have the ABS switched off? It looks like you couldn't lock the brakes so the car kept steering, with ABS off you should have been able to lock up and spin the car but stay on track.

i wached the video lot of times last night. this accident realized me, i dont know nothing about driving. it was a very simple situation and i did not do anything to correct sliding.
i made the turn too fast and my brain was block. i had a lot of situation like this, but not fast like this. i have a few things to learn about driving.
Really sorry to see what has happened - unfortunately I know how you feel on both the damage and driving side of things.
Main thing is you are ok even if the pride and pocket will suffer a little.
Good luck getting her back on the road quickly.

yes. i can say its easy to fix. its can be more difficult to fix broken heads, bones and spinal.

i started to collect the new parts for engine upgrade. almost everything arriwed. i make pics for them tomorrow.

Isn't it cheaper to buy a new chassie / car and just put the engine in that one? In Sweden you can get one for 3500-5000 eur..

I'm sorry for this Aron but as always you're an inspiration for ppl (like me) that likes sleeping (preferably with my gf) better than beeing in the garage.
Keep it up (even if you're sleeping with your gf, not easy to please otherwise..) lol? .

yes prosty. maybe its can be cheaper, but there is a lot of work to change everything. if you check my car, there is a few more mods, not only the engine.
other thing, i ordered a lot of parts for rs2 on the front.
i think this is the fastest way, not the cheaper and i like the original new headlights.

funily enough the AEM solenoid is excactly the same as the turbosmart and both are made by MAC which if you get them from them directly they must be dead cheap. Only trouble is that i cannot find the proper code for them to order one!
