Yes, with a little program called RaceChrono2avi. (also free of charge)

    - Go to the racechrono.com forum and go to the RaceChrono2avi section and download software.
    - Choose the desired lap/section on your phone and export it as an .csv file and send it to your computer.
    - Then use the RaceChrono2avi software to make an .avi videofile of the lap from the .csv file.
    - Then I use Pinnacle studio to make movie with picture in picture feature. On the ring the two videos are easy to syncronize as the start line is the Bridge

I also have an E30, a 318is with a few toys & LSD. Very different to the S2 and good fun as a result!

You have to carry a lot more speed through the corner as you can't accelerate out the corner in the same way unless you're sthe Stig and they can carry more speed through a corner with better balance.

Yes, Toyo R888. I am very satisfied, lots of traction for the money We also use them on our e30 parked in Nürburg.

I have also spent this weekend at the Ring. Not with the S2 but with our low budget BMW e30. First time I travelled the cheap, but quick way with RyanAir to Frankfurt-Hahn. Left home 13:00 and was in Nürburg 19:00 only 6 hours later

Since some of you guys are just as Ring-addicted as myself I dare to post this BMW video on this Audi forum

I had to realy change my driving style to get used to lowpower RWD from my usual "High" power, front heavy quattro style

I made it to the trackday the 26. of june and had a great day with only 8 cars at the first driver meeting Did in total 86 laps from 10-15:00

Here are some pictures from the day.

86 laps at Rudskogen wears hard on the front left tire on a front heavy quattro...

Long time since last update... I have practically spent the last 3 months on job, no spare time at all... I also had to cancel the Ring trip in May due to this

BUT new trip is booked and the 3. july I will fly down with some friends for the weekend. (I now also owns 1/3 of a BMW 325 e30 (1033kg, stripped out, rollcage and "race" suspension) parked in Nürburg from april to october. This so we can utilize the cheap RyanAir flights from Oslo(torp) to Frankfurt and the possibilities for short weekend trips

However, the 26. of june there is a trackday at Rudskogen with the Norwegian VW-Audi club and I really hope that I can manage to get the S2 raceready to that date

I have also upgraded my "laptiming" equipment with a 5hz Qstarz BT-Q818 Extreme GPS

Did some testing with my bullet cam and RaceChrono2avi and the result was promissing, now I can get accurate laptiming and see the real speed over Schwedenkreuz and through Fuchsröre

Pictures and updates will come running the next 2-3 weeks.

1381kg last season. (Full tank, without driver) I have so far removed another 10kg of insulation material (more to come). Bonnet will reduce another 12-15kg I guess. New gell battery 7-8kg. Still have original "door panels" with elektrical motors etc. So so far with little effort I guess it is around 1350kg.

I would also like to change the front brake disk to som alu hub XYZ disc or similar. That will also reduce the weight with approx 10kg in total compared with the very heavy Mercedes AMG discs that I am using now.... But that will require even more time and money so I guess it will not happend this season...

To be close to 1300 will take some effort and will need some re-building, but I dont think it is impossible.

I think it will be a realy good contribution to reach my 1300kg race ready weight
I only hope I cane find some time to have the car raceready befor 9. May. I would realy like to rebuild the brake system as well to get a better brake bias and better feeling with brake pedal.
