1380kg is good. Are you still 5 speed? If I strip my ABY out then I'm aiming for 1400kg. Made a big difference when I did it once before.

With less weight and more power you will be even faster round the 'ring!

Long time since last update... This winters upgrades have started. I have mounted a backpressure gauge too have overview over backpressure.
I have also started ripping everything out too remove insulation materials and brackets that I don't need. I will also rebuild the seat brackets, mount a glassfiber bonnet. I hope to get the weigth down to 1300kg before next season starts. (It was 1380kg race ready this season)
I have also bougth a new steering weel and a upgrade to 6pt harness.

First trip too the Ring is also booked in the beginning of May

Looking good as ever. Surely it's better to wait until oyu have the money and do the upgrades as you want them... or borrow the money

Last trackday of the year finnished And it was about time, today we have the first snow here where I live in Norway.

Some pictures from saturday, only 5deg Celsius and very windy So I tried to stay in car and on track as much as possible. I did approx 80-90 laps and burned 90L of fuel from 09:00 - 15:00

So the car is now in the garage and I will soon start to disassemble and prepare and plan for this winters upgrades. I have a little list of things I want to change, adjust or upgrade.

I also hoping to maybe get an new engine togheter this winter. I have most parts, depending on which setup I will go for.
Due to lack of time (and money) I will most likely save my best parts and go for a "low budget" engine this winter: Low milage 3B block (acid washed, control measured and honed), skimmed stock pistons, H-conrods, overhauled and slightly ported head, 7A or custom cams)
I have all this parts ready except the customs cams

EDIT: The trackday was at Rudskogen...

Whoops! Cheers for that. I completely overlooked these 2 items. I have had some little sleep the last weeks due to my new house construction work

The signal/not letting passed problem is just as big when it comes to cars.
On a bike its only the first 50 laps or so that are really dangerous...

My rear disc is a 312mm dia front disc from A4 (B7)... (Front is 345mm from mercedes AMG)

You can get Wilwood superlites in many different configurations, different piston diameter, disc thickness etc. I am not sure of the A8 disc measurements either.. So your quiestion is a little bit hard for me to answer

Otherwise there is not much to update realy... Just doing some more service, changing oil, brakepads etc. Getting the car ready for my last trackday this year at Rudskogen on the 25. oktober.
After that I think the car will go back into the garage and I will start stripping it for this winters upgrades

I run my car on 888's now and they are OK in the wet compared with std tyres. Earlier I used a set of Bridgestone 540's and they where fantastic in wet conditions. Better then std tyres on dry track
