    Hi
I would see with pleasure pictures of the underside of your S2 with the Exhaust.

Yes, we will consider it. We have some friends that have done it to their "budget racer" also. Personally I think that the original one worked just fine, but I haven't tried anyone with the Z3 rack either...
I'll guess it is all up to how much time and money that are left after the all the other service and upgrades
(This a cheap budget car on the side for all 3 of us, we all have other "project cars" as well. Time and money to spare the e30 are often very limmited...

Get a Z3 rack in the E30, makes a massive difference

Small update, most for all you Nordschleife-junkies...

Was down for the last time this summer to get the bimmer home for winter-service after 75laps this summer. (Divided on 3 drivers) Spent a long weekend 17-21 okt including a 1000km VLN race at the Nordschleife
Monday was the best day I have ever had down there, no traffic what so ever and perfect autum wheather with 5deg+

We drove my everyday 320d for transport and "service-car" for the trip home. (1400 km one way) I drove the e30 all the way, quite tiresome with 4pt harness, bucketseat and earprotection all the way.. But hey, it is worth it

Anyway, to much BMW talk on this Audi forum for now, I have also started winter service on the S2 wich includs some rework on the "interior", a very small gel-battery (saves me +10kg), upgrade from 4 to 6pt harness etc. Pictures will follow

I think this video says it all about our "perfect monday"

Edit: It is our e30 passing me right before Hohe Acht with Martin behind the wheel. And pretending to zig-zag just after BrĂ¼nchen to keep up the heat in the tires. (Because I am to slow in the diesel)

BTW best lap with the unmodified diesel was 9.19 BTG, the lap on the link is 9.21.

And we also got to try trackday driving at the GP track on Sunday. First time for me and that was also a lot of fun

I hope to make it to Rudskogen but I am not to sure I will make it with the car I will definetly come to watch anyway.

Would be nice to meet up again and have a look at your car, remember I sold you that 3B ECU some years ago
Yeah, I remember! It worked nice, even though it was from a 200 20V. But it looks like it will be out of work in a while :mischeif:

We must have a chat next weekend!

It startet out with a small crack in the lower left corner, but after a few laps at Rudskogen in June cracks was all over the windshield...

Back on work after another great weekend at the Ring Great weather and a lot to see at the GP track incl Le Mans, GT series and 40-50 oldtimer racecars.
Also got some nice, almost free laps saturday and sunday morning and sat a personal best BTG time with the e30: 8.34!
This was the second lap in perfect weather saturday morning, rest of the weekend was also great with little traffic early morning and late afternoon
I am realy impressed with the old bimmer and did several 8.45 laps without pushing too much

Today I am going to pick-up the S2 after getting a new front windshield, the old one wasn't too good.
I was hoping to get it ready to next weekends autumn-meet at Rudskogen with the Norwegian VAG-club. However I am not sure I am going to make it... Need the car "MOT" first or "EU-control" as we call it in norway...
