we're not all the same for many of us the S2 comes alive when let loose on the smooth tarmac of a track wich is a pretty good reason to up the power, tailor the setup and shed the weight

Mine started off being what you describe but the longer I own it, the more it needs to focus on track and be compromised for the road...though the A/C stays

I like the fact that as well as bhp ypu've gone for weight reduction rather than fitting a bigger stero and electric seats.

I also think that is more right, but I like to roand off downwards when it comes to "guessing" HP figures

    new plugs

and see how I get on with that. How often do you change your plugs/leads/etc?

do you know of anyone running 500+ with nitrous on top of that? its one thing I was tempted by.

do you have any links to the MSD Digital 6+ ignition box + MSD HVC Blaster II coil and places to buy/reviews?

really like how low you've got your car
Jonus is running approx 900bhp + nos in the 90Q. (The 1065bhp pull was with nitrous)
I know one or two 3Bs also running 500+bhp on E85 wich requires a lot of ignition power.

I have used same Magnecore 8,5mm leads last 30 000km.
Rotor and plugs i change maybe once a season. The MSD box is quite hard on rotor, plugs etc due to the high volt output.

The MSD tech support forum is also a great place to ask ignition related questions: http://www.msdignition.com/page.aspx?id=4209

I have no plans to change the dizzy, there are 3B's in Norway running 600bhp+ with dizzy. I have done 30 000km with this setup on stock bottom end. (inkl 50 laps @ the Ring, at least 200 laps @ rudskogen) Jonus have also dynoed 1065bhp with dizzy and used it for 3 years...
(I am using MSD Digital 6+ ignition box + MSD HVC Blaster II coil)

My only plan for later is to build a strong bottom end with H-beam conrods, ported head and som Skinne cams. Then I can turn up the boost a little more

The 3B ignition is more than good enough if the setup is correct But if you are running the wrong, wide rotor, old "rotorcap" and old worn ignition cables etc, then you are in trouble when you start turning up the boost.

With less weight and more power you will be even faster round the 'ring!
This is with 6 speed box. I realy hope to be close to 1300kg. Accelration and corner speed will definetly improve with less weight.

I have also got new lap timing "device": nokia mobile phone with Racechrono software. (www.racechrono.com) I have done some testing and it works great! No need for performance box to take laptimes, spilttimes and cornerspeed. I have also tested out racechrono2avi software so I get speed overlay on my inboard movies
Looking forward to check max speed @ Scwedenkreuz and Fuchsröre
Check out the forum section on www.racechrono.com for more information, the software is free and very easy to use
