I woke up with 3 inches of water in my rear passenger footwell!

Hey guys,
Been away for a while, but havent been driving the leakey coupe as its in the MOT garage , its a mates garage and as i have my dads V6 Version of the same car (so ive told him theres no rush on the MOT), im muchos enjoying the speed of the! Never had such a smooth power delivery. Thanks to yavor20v and HPmuirt for (your guide is printed out and ready for me to use!) your suggestions , i will be looking ar the car and getting it into our home garage now its cleaned out in a few weeks time, doing some temp work as a postamn at the moment, its easy except when it rains!

Leak is in the passenger footwell, bonnet release gromit is on the drivers side

In my case,at first I don't knew that there is a rubber ring,because the firt owner of the car was sticked into the hole some other rubber ,taken by my sugestion from any of the front hood holes??I don;t know??After i went to the car morgue to find this rubber and change it Ok, i was there and this guy in the morgue shows me that twere is no such thing as the rubber I had?? I was shocked
And than my "dentist brain" told me that maybe MY rubber is in almost correct place ,i take down the plastic part under the steering wheel and above the pedals and pull down the carpet and i found this fu****g rubber 5cm under the hole!!I just move it up and put some silicone around and for a year and half i don't have that stincky and wet problem
Under the carpet i found a new speacies of life!there was a mud,durt,water,little bugs...I
