yeah but just think about it.....how much would you pay not to roast your *** in the summer in the S2 Replaced my compressor on the a6 over this summer and that was £300 including the regas which i actually felt wasnt too bad. In the S2, it generates so much heat you can really feel it radiate through the firewall in the summer so I think its a good investment personally. I seem to have lost some gas from mine so need to resolve it at some point, just dont seem to have any time at the moment, which is why, propshaft, front subframe and a host of other stuff sits gathering dust in the garage

I think I *know* why my aircon is still bust!

I just put the windows down and listen to the 5 pot anyway.

Best of luck sorting your AC out Mike. You are brave!

      Cheers,

      Steve.

Aircon man is outside my office now fitting the new parts, and I've just spoken to Charlie at Pro-Speed again and he's very kindly agreed to squeeze me in on Wednesday before ADI to get some new de-cat pipes made up. Top bloke!

Get the RS2 DP on there and have a sports cat fitted, he'll love doing another DP on an S2...

Hope the AC gets all fixed up and working, that'll be one rare S2 with working A/C!

Well, as per last time he was here it's just doing vacuum pump and doesn't show any major leaks - took the old condenser off and it just about fell apart, so that explains where all the gas went!

                Don't want a sports cat - that's for pussies!

I don't know about you, but driving the S2 with "Company Petrol" in it just seems that bit more indulgent!

Yeah, except for 35p/m to cover fuel for the trip I've got to average 18mpg... Which I struggle! Lol!

May I suggest the Old Fosse Way from Leicester to Moreton in Marsh then the A429 to Bourton on the Water, turn right and head over to Andoversford, then head to jn. 11A and straight over the M5 and down the A48 to the M48, or if you're feeling brave then take the Chepstow to Usk road and then cut down to Cardiff. Sweet

How fast are you planning to go!

That said, I *only* got 20mpg going to work last Friday and I had my 16 month old daughter in the passenger seat, so wasn't in full attack mode either....

                              Enjoy

Erm. I manage about 12 to the gallon on a brisk drive, although I tend to come off most roundabouts in a 4-wheel-drift!
