Join the club! I have the same one, but with a blue rubber. It works great.

How does it ride? I remember someone removing it as it was too "harsh" on the Avant

Those vibrations have gone away over time. I do not know why, maybe I got used to it? At least I do not notice them anymore. The blue rubber is street density btw, the red is track/race density.

i have been looking on how much weight is going to go away and it is approx 160kg for all stuff together

also my newest thing has come home, A torsen diff 55€ delivered home so the torsen swap will soon continue

best thing you could have done trying to get the weight of the car down, they are just soooooooooo heavy, I was in a type 85 coupe the other night and its just soo light compared to one of these, it will be worth it in the end.

This is how the weight is looking:

                no air condition -25kg?
                no sound deadening etc -15kg?
                no floormat - 5kg?
                GF hood -14kg?
                Plastic side windows - 20kg?
                bucketseats -30kg?
                no ICE at all. -2kg?
                lighter battery-3kg?
                single mass flywheell-5kg?
                different exhaust system- 35kg
                roofwindow -15kg?

                togheter: -169kg

and oem is 1660 what i have read so approx 1500kg + rollcage is awesome!

the torsen will send power to the wheel with most traction, not to the wheel with less traction as oem, but i would not use it for drag.

im making an how-to thread on this search on V8 diff swap and you will find it

                                Some piccys

7A rocker, hole drilled for crank-case vent

                                Ready for welding/ painting

it cant look like this for sure

This looks much better, just the glued mats to take away
