Did get some free time tonight at my mates workshop with some nice tools that i dont have..
So i have Glass-blasted the rocker cover and then weld on the AN- fitting and after that 30min in an "hotwasher"

Nextup is to get some 1,8T coils so i can measure up how much i need to mill on the rocker cover/ drill up the holes, and after that Red wrinkle paint time

Hi mate a bit off topic but would you happen to know if the rear control arms in "cast version" is available to buy new? not the stamped version!
      Cheers mis amigos,

Looking to build a nice 90 quattro for my Father. Got some VAP acetrone GP bushings for the cast front and rear arms.. found a used set but the price is $95 per piece... just curious what the new cost is!
          Cheers mis amigos,

you could use the pressed versions also, just change some bolts to longer

                Update

Ordered new Bilstein front shocks today, so next week i can start to get the front suspension fully assembeled

and carbotech xp10 brakepads are ordered, also going to refurbish my calipers soon.

and the big bomb!, since you only can run 8,5" wheel on these cars and my car needs at least 10" rims so i can run with wide tires when i am at the trackdays, these will be ordered for the front:

some people might hate me, i think it is going to look awesome! in the rear i am also going to make the car wider, dont know how yet though...

                so next weekend plans:

Get the topmounts welded in with more caster
make the coil-over for the strut
                order springs for front coilover
start looking on Front brake cooling
And hopefully trial-fit the Front fenders

im soon going to order new shocks all around. bilstein adjustable fronts.

and some coilover shock at the rear to make it easier to build the coilovers. just need to remake the upper spring seat @rear.

built for 2,5" coilover spring and bilstein shock.

Looking forward to seeing how you get on with fitting these. Not that fussed about more pictures of your feet though .

Respect for having the courage to strip such a car!

                      did some work today

First of all, refilled the torsen rear diff and put it back up with new bushing at front

ready to go up again, i am pretty good at this now (4th time )

                      there it is

a shame to hide this beautiful bushing really..

then i started to remove the front end ( wings, lights front bumper etc) so i can put the new ones on asap.

though, some problems, how do i remove the front fender, i have removed all bolts exept 2 that is sitting at the bottom rear on the fender, under this trim, how do i get it loose? does it slides on as the door trim??

and what is this for? gies a hose in the wheel arch and then to this valve and then in through where the AC tubes join in the firewall?

the rears will be something different... only bought fronts from an swedish dealer, so nothing from the other place..

for the rear it will be Nitron 2way adjustebla valved for my spec or something similar

That's a non-return valve for the AC recirculation function. One hose goes into the wing where there is a vacuum reservoir, the other goes to the recirculation actuator.
