Very good job james!
I have never seen that kind of exhaust on a I5 before, that for sure bet it sounds awesome standing besides it, idling, or at WOT down the straight
The only thing I got mixed feelings on is the insane big text on the side of the car, other than that, it is flawless. Sorry for the criticism, but i've always liked this cars look with the clean paint and lowerd on the bbs'
Anyways, I think your doing an awesome job, and please do continue with it.
IMO - You gotta spray that intercooler matt/satin black.
Shame about the bumper, on such a immaculate car.
My car is running a single 3 inch downpipe and exhaust.
I mean to upgrade to a 3.5 Inch once i get the time.
2x3 inch does seem excessive but i'll let you know once i upgrade mine to how it goes.
S2 Coupe fully built.
10.9 1/4mile 0-100 in 3.5secs
Precision 6262 turbo
Guys, twin 3 inch was used because of not wanting to cut the floor, and still wanted to keep some ground clearance.
Labour and parts cost is pretty much exactly the same if You use 60, 63 or 76mm parts, so why not go to 3 inch, as we know, ground clearance can be kept reasonable that way.
Also, who knows, maybe Chef will change his little keyring turbo to something bigger some day. Should that day arrive, the exhaust is already up to it.
And yea, I have done a couple of similar pipes during the years. Flows enough for pretty much any reasonable and a slice of unreasonable numbers, still keeping the noise level low enough for street driving. So I back up chef's choise 100%. Not saying I had nothing to do with it...

100% correct. Even with only two center mufflers the noise was not to bad and exiting under the floor plan of the car, you might agree?
