Some new goodies :D

The avant is starting to look a bit tired now so I have been putting together some new goodies to freshen it up a little. Couple of things to get before everything goes over to dads for paining. (Anyone got RS2 side skirts and lower trims?)

New A8 disks from Audi, £50 + VAT ea.

2 new wings.

Also in the stockplie to be done;

RS2 Front Bumper
RS2 Rear Bumper
RS2 Mirrors
RS2 Reflector Panel (Still need a handle)
RS2 Evo EM
RS2 Evo IC
RS2 FARB
Boost gauge mount for center vent
Ally subframe bushes
Another set of coils to try fix the blooming misfire!

The plan is to get all the bits together and fit everything in one go, although I have nearly all the bodywork stuff so that may get done before the mecanical side.

Part I still need to get include:

GT3071r T3
Injectors
Boost Hoses
Rods (probably Scat)
1.9 bar WG spring
Hoses for turbo
Head bolts
RARB of some sort
Powerflex bushes
VDO boost gauge (suggestions for a vendor???)

At present it has:
S8s
Some sort of Brembos up front (can anyone suggest a cheap supplier of FCP891H Ferodo DS2500s?)
H&Rs
Samco water hoses
Blue Plasmas (want some red ones - but also want the S3 style warning lamps in them, maybe next time Bo? )
Full Supersprint system (will need modifying for the 3071r I think?
Dahlback filter kit (gonna mod the ABY box and put it back in)

Has anyone bought new wings from audi? The ones they sent have no holes for the side repeater. They say it is the right part number, but are sending up another set anyway to check if they have the holes.

And can anyone reccomend what to use where the bumper rubs on the wings (the usual rust spots)? My old wings are not in that bad a shape if anyone is looking for some second hand ones.

I have always dreamed of a pearl white rs2.

It's not going to be posiable to do s3 style warning lights in te s2 cluster. Atleast not the way we tried to get it to work.

Your best bet is to buy a set of red ones I still have a few left.

IIRC someone else talked about this and you *may* have to put the holes in yourself!

I'm sure it could be done with relays for the 14 volt? And then use a nice lcd screen in the centre running linux

I dunno if the new wings are galvanised, but if they are, I really don't want to cut holes in them, but AFAIK the repeaters are needed for the MOT on the age of car.

Porsche mirrors with indicators maybe?

new wings from audi dont come with the holes for side repeaters as they werent fitted on the continent. Shame we need them over here as it looks a lot better without
