You need to put holes into your wing. You can not put them in but if a copper is having a bad day you'll be give a notice to retest your car MOT or have it seized worst case scenario.

RS2 skirts are the same as the S2 Avant

Can you advise where you end up getting the VDO boost gauge from and also in particualr the respective fitting kit?

A boost gauge is a very worthwhile addition IMHO.

Well spent the last few days fitting some bits...

Got the rear bushes all fitted nearly, except one of the stainless inserts was missing from the pack of upper inner powerflex bushes so waiting for that to arrive.

The front is stripped of wishbones and subframe and some of the bushes have been removed, I had to get a new NS wishbone as one was very slightly bent, or it may have just been the balljoint, either way, i need to push the bushes out of it tomorrow and fit it all back up once I have refitted the exhaust. I took the Supersprint off for the MOT and am just getting round to putting it on again. I have noticed a tiny hole in it though. There is a bracket that supports the wastegate pipe and where it is welded there is a little gap, so will weld that tomorrow. I will take a pic to show you guys in case anyone has a similar issue.

Going to fit the new coils and brakes tomorrow too hopefully.

Oh, and I have fitted the RS4 15mm RARB and got the RS2 front ready to go on tomorrow with the rest of the suspension.

Hopefully the Roose hoses will arrive tomorrow and I can fit them along with the ABY airbox which is going back on, maybe modified as I have an ADU plastic for behind the headlamp. Anyone want a Dahlback cone kit?!

I haven't ordered the gauge yet as its 105 euros. I think I am going to have to PM Bo and try get some plasma faces made up for the VDO...

Has anyone bought new wings from audi? The ones they sent have no holes for the side repeater. They say it is the right part number, but are sending up another set anyway to check if they have the holes.

And can anyone reccomend what to use where the bumper rubs on the wings (the usual rust spots)? My old wings are not in that bad a shape if anyone is looking for some second hand ones.

In germany you dont need side repeaters, so I would guess that it is way you wings don't have the holes. In Denmark holes for the side repeaters are always made after the car is imported to Denmark.

WOW what a difference, its like a new car again!

Well apart from the dirtyness!

Changed everything suspension wise bar the bloody rear tie rods. I found out that Audi sent me two new bolts for the camber adjustment only they were too short and the adjustment washer was too big, they assured me that was the only part number listed and i had no ETKA to check it out so I had to grind down the washer to shape. It turns out the 'Definitely Camber adjust bolt' was the one for the tie rod.

The fecking tie rod bolts were seized into the bushes so trying to toe out the rear wheels was a b1tch. I will have to replace the tie rods when I get back but dad is gonna make up some rose jointed ones

Brakes feel good but not bedded them in fully yet so its hard to say for sure.

The powerflex bushes have made such a difference. The car no longer wanders all over the place on B roads.
