Thanks for the positive comments
Wastegate spring is a 1.9 BAR version for once it's run in, then it should be pretty fast.
As for a max hp tune, I'm not sure really. Just the best all round drivable package, anything over 400bhp with lots of torque and fast spool up. The magic 450 would be nice though
But yes, definately want to see what it'll do! If you look at the origional engine spec, plan was to build it strong. I'm sure I could try for bigger figures if a bigger turbo was used, but I wanted drivable power with good torque.
Bear in mind it's quite a bit lighter than an S2, at about 1300KG. No cats are needed either
The downpipe was a bitch to fit apparantly, this is just one of the reasons why I have used someone elses experience and expertise who works on these cars regularly. It had to carefully have small slots cut into it and be re welded to make the fit just so. (it was an 034 downpipe) Clearance of the CV joint is pretty tight as you would expect, but its as good as can be.Leave a comment:

Some good progress here. It's nice to see some shiney fresh parts on that car. I am not sure if I missed it in previous posts, but are you getting a max HP tune, or will it be a mild one?
Do you also have more pictures of your downpipe routing? I heard 3" was kinda tricky on the UrQ

Original 1980's tartan interior now incorporating 6spd box and additional stack boost guage. I have a freshly retrimmed ur 20V steering wheel to fit yet, and some tidying to do.

Engine all running nicely, the only thing left to add is the catch tank which has been delayed.

Cockster brake calipers.

Hidden twin intercoolers, one either side.

Underneath (3" downpipe cobled to origional exhaust until I get a full 3" system made up)

It's taking forever
I just want to drive and or start fettleing! All I can think about at the moment is selling up and buying something I can drive.

Still not even at a stage where I can get an exhaust made up and go for mapping.

Ask the tuner!
I'd select EV14 style if the tuner says they're ok. 630 Dekas are not very linear with tiny opening times. This may cause emission test problems.
With std maf 630cc/min is pretty big (727cc @ 4bar). You don't need more than about 450cc/min.Leave a comment:

well my friend I have same sweet problem like you.At the moment it has the standard injectors, the plan is to run it in as standard and then go to MRC for mapping and to see what she'll do, I might also get them to supply injectors.
Was thinking Siemens 660cc, any thoughts anyone? Where is the best place to get some from anyway?
find one store and I's lowest price I find...
Purchase 63 lb/hr Siemens High-Z Fuel Injector MT or shop other Fuel Injectors - High Impedance and DEKA products.
I will order from them 45$ or 72$ (034) it's not the same

Looking good, its the development that takes all the time but worth it in the end...
As for injectors mine runs Porsche turbo orange top ones, cant remember for the life of me what they flow. The duty cycle was low leaving some head room for later...Leave a comment:
