Massive size difference between the two boxes isn't there. That is one manky looking matrix!
Do you need a non-ac glovebox? I have one here surplus to requirements - free to you mate

I think I have a glove box, I've been collectoing parts for so long I've forgotten, I'll have a look later, if not that would be fab. I need the non AC controls and cables now though, I felt sure that the basic AC would use the same parts with the switches bolted onto the side..

Anyway, **** it, I'm going to do the pin swap in a bit.

Pin swap is done, there's a bunch of tidying to do now.

Also, I have to terminate the 5 coil wires and the power to the assorted bunch of connectors on the five coil loom, I need a pinout for that too!

Think I've sussed it with help from S2 Central http://www.s2central.net/S2_Schematics/B/B73.PDF

The 2 x 4 pins connectors just have the 5 new wires from the ECU, 3 in one and 2 in the other, the 2 x 3 pin ones just have power from S32! Simples!

It's all wired, ECU pin swap done and mods to original loom sorted.

034 HO coils mounted and wired apart from plug leads which have to make up to length and a new set of NGKs to fit.

EV14 injectors, ABY fuel rail and lines fitted. General tidying done.

I'm waiting for a set of heater controls, hopefully from Gripper. I may bypass the heater matrix just to see if it runs!

Sounds simple enough to type out but I'd imagine you've put some hours into it in the last few days!

It lives!

It started pretty much staight up but sounded lumpy, pulled the plug lead for Cyl 1 = no change.
Tried a plug in it and got a spark.
Tried a spare injector plugged into the loom which was ticking, plugged back up and thought I could hear the injector ticking with screwdriver in the ear, swapped the new EV14 750 for the old Deka 630 and it runs on 5.

So now I'm wondering why one of my new injectors is not working. Brand new, just been sitting in a sealed bag in a box in the garage since they arrived fro O-Five.

Or maybe I was hearing the other injectors ticking down the fuel rail. Need to do output test.

Also need to get some clips to hold the injectors into the rail, if I push on the connector the injector drops in the manifold and pops out of the rail spraying fuel all over the place. The clips from the 3B rail dont fit, I'm thinking the EV14s dont have a groove for the clip?

Fixed the blocked injector

Just need a way to hold the injectors in the rail now. I'm a bit pissed off as I thought these would be a perfect fit.

I put the injectors in the lathe and cut a groove for the clip with a piece of hacksaw blade sharpened into a parting tool. Tidy job, all reassembled.

She now runs and idles nicely.

Inside still waiting for heater controls from Gripper but I have been hard at work with the Tesa tape.

And you can see the Blanking plate for the AC pipes that came from Alex's car
