Popped round to see Matt yesterday with my Phone-Camera meant to pick up my proper one but left it at work...

Point Of Interest - These are Brand New bumper brackets for the RS2 and they only cost about £25.00 each and they look like hand built & welded units... Bargain compared to a bit of mesh for £100.00

Rive been round to bramhalls ( another car in paint) and mentioned about your project and he ain't got a clue about it ( not seen you for ages) he did say he was trying to get hold of you about the golf he painted I think .

Good news today 4 complete RS2 hub assemblies, ABS looms and handbrake cables and 4 complete almost new stock RS2 suspension legs have arrived. I've also just ordered the handbrake cable securing parts that Saltinot listed and a replacement rear splash plate that got pulled off in the post from Germany.

The car is also now MOT'd, the dating letter has arrived from Blakelands (the car was built in November 1994) and the forms are filled in for the DVLA to register it, I just need to nip over to the local office when time allows and hand it over so the nice people there can issue me a shiny new "M" plate for it. I devoted some thought to popping down to Milton Keynes DVLA and getting an "Mxxx xBD" plate like most of the VAG UK registered cars but then realised that I really couldn't be arsed so it'll just get a Sheffield one.
