i have to present the car officially to my parents and girlfriend....so i have to homologate the car,repaint it with another colour and start bushing the car,suspension,etc...

about the coupe i would say yes, but now i am a bit scared...
Dmitri told me "sell the coupe as stock,and every upgrade parts inside separately and then buy a RS4 B5 ,to have 2 different worlds because now i cant get anything better as 2.2 20VT engine as the the competition one so it should be boring for you "

i had a drive now...for 10 minutes.... and STILL scared

too much power,it´s also practically undrivable on WOT mode....1st and 2nd gears are a madness. i am still trembling

and in higher gears....you can feel how it push your back till redline set at 7500rpm
i have never felt anything similar...

I don't think it's that bad. Yes, it's pretty fast and lacking traction in first, but you can still launch it, shift into 2nd, 3rd... I had no problems mapping it alone most of the time, but it needs some work to hold straight with one arm in 2nd after 5000 rpm when it loses traction.
It's on the streetable limit. Just don't kill yourself with that car in a curve or slippery weather.

It sounds like a very nice result. Rocco, if you are too afraid, stick a smaller hotside and reduce the boost on the high revs so as to keep the power less and make it more drivable!!! hahaha!!!

i wouldnt do it though, 4200 is not bad at all and this engine is made to go high revs rather than early spool!

hehe, no thanks because i would need to remap it again... and maybe i would only win 200/300 rpm?¿ better spool and 30Hp less?

i dont want to spend any money for now....to get more power. i only want the car running almost perfect...bit a bit...

This engine does not breathe below 4500 rpm... That would be a waste of time and only make the car worse.
The strongest torque comes in at about 4800, long after the turbo has spooled up and holding 2.2bar.

Boost actually does not oscillate like this. There is no restrictor, so you can see the pulsations in the inlet manifold.

Also you can see that while you reach peak boost at 4200 rpm (boost is a bit late on the graph), the peak load or cylinder filling at the same level is reached at 4700-5000 rpm.

Can it be that when the engine reaches 4700+ the turbo also works in a higher efficiency island in the map?
