Yep, but I'm talking about how quick the car is compared to a relatively highly tuned B5 RS4, not the specific power output, which is rather uninteresting. Same reason why owners of really, really fast cars (the 6speedonline.com guys, etc) almost exclusively focus on 60-130mph and 100-200kmh times and not on power numbers.
Since the FATS times and gear ratios are the same between Roccos car and the fast B5's, we know that it will match them from 60-90mph, and quite possibly in the 100-200kmh. How much power it produces is about as interesting as the peak wattage produced by Usain Bolt during a 100m dash. What matters is the fastness

I'll put my car on the truck " scale - weigher " the soon as possible,I only need 1 EUR and done.

The logs were done with Dmitri and me inside,so 100 kg + Dmitri.80?empty car ,his tuning devices and probably at least half of fuel tank.

I'm still scared as it is too fast to be driven in the streets

I'm back at home after destroy my second coupe gearbox and then started the party with the competition

          So I have this picture

I would like to know if this is normal or not....

It's around 350/400 cc of oil in my catch tank ....I did it in only 30 minutes of hard accelerations .

          Is it normal or not?

as i wrote in the Coupe project thread.... this car has serious iddling problems and i really dont know what to do....except buying brand new iddle valve and TPS ...

the car dies mostly whem i release the accelerator pedal at low revs....and lots of times whem it is hot and only iddling...

my mechanic friend told me that maybe could affect the light flywheel and the high lift camshafts and it would require more iddling revs to be stable??

because we have tried with 3 used and theoricaly good working condition iddle valves and 2 TPS.....

            what can be?

I say your pcv system is affecting your idle, you need to put a diagram or pics of what you have setup

The car was idling PERFECTLY when I finished mapping it.
Did you pressure test it? By your symptoms you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

The car also has re-mapped ISV duty cycle and higher idle to accommodate for your high lift cams, etc.

As for oil in catch tank - ask the person who built the engine.

yes thats true but you know... something was wrong with the iddle and we were thinking about the TPS and iddle valve

i did a boost leak test and the only one small leaks were found in the injectors...making a some bubbles adding soap.

the boost gauge is showing 2.4Bar boost as we were seeing whem mapping, unreal of course because the ECU only was reading 2.2Bar...because the boost gauge fault

today i was with one guy who has a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8 with forged engine and GTX3076 0.73AR 540Hp ,and he has the original engine breather sistem without a catch tank and i asked him "why dont you have it?" and he answered " because i would have to stay everydays putting the oil into the engine...." so without it problem solved. the only little problem is that you a have dirty some hoses in the intake but the car works the same.

i told him , yesterday night in 30 minutes i did around 400cc of oil in the catch tank and he told me,ok this is complete normal with a forged engine and your race engine

Thats complete jap crap, if you do it correctly and have a seperator and return to sump you don't have these issues.

If you use stock pcv where do you think all that liquid is going? into your intake pipes.

Because he can no longer see it on oem setup the problem has gone away?

so what i need to do to pump that dirty oil into the sump again over put it in my super crap plastic bottle ?

the Jap crap is just amazing... it feels that something is going to explode,,,like in my 80.

this car is super slow before 4800/5000rpm....it has nothing¡¡ but once there...wow...what a beast how it revs to 7500rpm,2500rpm power band

Uhm, I don't really remember there being anything really wrong with the idle once I was done with it.
Idled fine, started off the line just fine as well. Hmph. I can send you a chip with higher ISV duty cycle table if you want. But I don't think that's the problem here.

do you remember we were playing with the thorttle body also? touching it some times, but we will see. i am going to the garage tomorrow and check every vacuum leaks... i am feeling stupid because i have never had anything similar in my coupe with very different setups but...who knows....maybe is only bad luck

i have to solve this.dont worry about sending the file for the moment

due to life circunstances.... i am going to stop the evolution of this car, surely i will put on it a standard engine and turbo + Dmitri´s mapping then sell it for a very reasonable price.

there are various reasons and i will name the most importants

reason 1 : i have to spend a good amount of money to make it perfect (suspension, chassis, full body respray...

reason 2 : i have to spend around 1000€ to homologate it as road legal

reason 3 : my Coupe gearbox is gone and thats means hours and money, also the downpipe needs to be fixed + another 90mm BMC filter...

reason 4: it has not lots of extras like others

reason 5: i would like to start enjoying the heart of the beast in a "almost" finished car like my coupe

reason 6: SWAP time¡ , i will take off the race engine + transmission in both cars ,then 3B engine and gearbox to the 80 and race engine and RS4 tranmission into the coupe

reason 7 and most important : only i can say "each end is a new beginning "

i hope to have finished the coupe for 1st of Augost

                            :mischeif:
