This has been a long term project which has now (almost) finished. The car has been running it's original 10v unit but it went bang at Castle Combe and so have spent the last 2 years putting this together.

I might be there with this but the map is very tame at the moment or might bring my 600 bhp RS4!
This is the quattro with about 330 bhp on the 10v a couple of years ago that someone posted up on youtube:

I don't i'm afraid. The intercooler (a dialynx one) sits upright infront of the rad and connects to the chargecooler which fits in the original intercooler space. The chargecooler rad sits behind the frill.
The wagner sits under the std bonnet but with no auxilliary rad the cooling is marginal (expecially with the intercooler in front of the dialynx rad) and this allows so much more air in through those ducts.*1986 ur quattro,2.5 stroker

Hi
Thisis the only picture I've got. It was when it was running the 10v motor but is pretty much the same now although the installation is a lot neater. It's hard to link the 2 with the front pully and alternator in the way without it looking a bit messy...

That's the problem. We couldn't find a chargecooler or intercooler big enough for the space we had to cool charge under 2 bar of boost. I was keen to have the car looking as standard as possible as otherwise we would have had a sport quattro front grill with a different cross member to allow a full sized fmic set up.
I have seen others use 2 charge coolers or 2 intercoolers.*1986 ur quattro,2.5 stroker
