Is that the ikeya (sp) sequential shifter ?

Mike Rainbird of r&b Motorsport runs that or one very similar on a ludde dogbox in his escort, seems a nice bit of kit.

Have you sorted out a gearbox or kit yet James ?

If its a dog box then no clutch on up shifts

Not sure if its the same shifter but its a sequential shifter Mike now uses on a H pattern dogbox, Adrian at Fensport has run the same in his car for a fair while now.

          it is still being developed.

looks like 8 weeks or so out i heard.

and when used with a dog-geared trans no upshift clutching....

SQS do a H pattern to sequential shift conversion for the 01E box

I believe its the aforementioned ikeya unit.

                          Well alittle up date.

I have modified and powder coated the sub frames and hubs. Front sub frame had more metal removed so the the 102mm down pipe fits with out stopping the adjustment of the sub frame.

Rear one has had some serious diff bracing so the whole drive chain should be pretty ****ing tight now!

Got a dry run of fitting the rear blades with the tubular wish bones today they look okay still abit of work to do there though.

Sorry for the bad quality my camera took a beating.

                          Beef'd up rear diff mount

hi, not the best design of mcpherson control arms.. on braking you will have problems with outer spherical bearings, it can unscrew... If you want to test then put there 2x nuts, but it would be better to have there welded housing for round spherical bearing for safety.

had similar design years ago.. it works with double wishbone, but not mcpherson

Are zip ties not taking the weight saving to the extreme?

Were you worried about the original diff mount on the subframe flexing? Are the wishbones "set" in the subframe or will you use spacers to adjust back and forward?

You got a date for the suspension?
