I remember seeing it/you drive up the A24 out of Worthing past the BP garage in Findon Valley.. I was standing there filling up our Ur at the time... You took it off the road shortly after.

It *was* built as a Treser at Audi in Brooklands..
Which makes it extremely rare and worth a lot more..

Not that I'm a great fan of the Treser styling, why do you want to put standard bumpers?

Surely it *should* go back as close to original (Treser) as possible...?

Didn't Rob have a genuine front bumper ?

I actually have both types of bumper and rear spoiler so I can choose later. About 25yrs ago there used to be a car around here which had original bumpers with the Treser boot spoiler, I'd like to try that. One of the issues with fitting the S2 style spoiler is that the side pieces fit to the rear quarters, if I can find a solution which means we don't have to drill the quarters then I think it's worth trying. I will probably have to make a replacement spoiler anyway as the original Treser unit has lost its shape somewhat, the steel reinforcement has rusted inside and swollen up.

So I probably should have said "it will have stock bumpers to start with"

Saw it as re-read the entire thread, Stood out for sure when you used to turn up at the Star in CHessington. Will look great whatever you decide
