    Before -

    After -

MOT retest tonight so I could do with sorting little things like fitting a door card and handle, fitting a window that wasn't held up by tie wraps and getting rid of the ABS light.

Will fit the rest of the leather when the hail has gone off

ABS light off for the first time since owning the car. Not driven yet so it'll likely come back on once moving....

Lobbed in some new front speakers while taking a break from the door:

Thanks to Spink for the leather (only a few broken clips, haha, less than when I removed my old door card!), Acidburn for the great price/service on the door handles and associated gubbins and whoever it was that sold me the hens teeth early regulator (complete with door, haha), sorry I can't remember who it was since it's been sitting in the garage for months.

Without this forum my car would have been broken/scapped many times over. You guys always come through with advice and parts

Looking forward to seeing it with the Avus IIs on it

Also remembered today while I was chatting about tyres at work that I have a fifth tyre for the 17" alloys. I don't know why but I got it in the sale from Trist28, so I'll include that for you as it's useless to me after I get those 16" Avuses

Took a break from crying about my central locking woes to spend some money on fuel lines and tunes since this will now be my daily driver

Starting to think I'll need more than 7.5m though :\

            Got my 17"s on today

Should look pretty nice with a wee drop when the springs come back from powdercoating.

A few other goodies ahead of a rear brake and suspension refresh.

Nice Completely transforms the look of a 3B. I'm kinda jealous of you now that I've got those puny 16" ones on

I know what you mean about the handling change though I think I'll be trying out some different tyres.

What did I say about the handling? I don't remember haha

Mine rolls about a bit more now and the tyres have a tendency to squeal under heavy loads i.e. today exiting a roundabout at about 60-70mph

Into BMW today for my heroic mechanic friend to replace fuel lines due this pish:

Remove the clip and this happens

All rather painless, just got to grab a couple of clips and stuff that a previous owner must have snapped and cowboyed:

This was in for a clutch as well, a £90k E36, haha. You might need to google the reg:

Seriously, 90k for that just because a footballer used to own it!

I take it the fuel lines up begin the rack are ok then?

Aye, looked perfect from where they were joined.

Not a single leak upon starting either, those Wade connectors that were recommended here are the daddy.

Good stuff. I did that, and then it leaked the old lines above the join (obviously did not like being disturbed).

                              Aye those connectors are great.
