Yeah, Peter Vestman is the one who´s doing the ice-tires. He has the world record on ice with motorcycle, 342km/h (hayabusa turbo) so he knows how to make the tires

Well... It has been a while..


Fitted an Precision 5862 and went to Dahlbäck Racing for some tuning on the dyno.


Ended up at 552whp . 644nm



Took it for a testdrive and power feels really nice! Impossible to get a grip when running RWD.





I´ve also removed the piston and springs under the X-plugs in the hydraulic servo pump and going to begin a vacuum-servo conversion.
The hydraulic brake-servo has been a real PITA to me.

The Deatschwerk DW301 fuelpump is almost at its limit.

Did you upgrade the fuel system for this last run?
Also, what clutch are you using?

Yes, now im using a catch-tank and running with two Bosch -044. ~60-65% duty if i remember correct.

Im thinking of converting to an electrical power-steering pump as well, and throw the mechanical pump in the trashcan.

Haha sorry, it´s a Sachs -707 pressure plate and a 4-puck sinter.


Org Partnr for the vacuum-servo is 8A0612105D if someone is wondering if it fits.

Today I will buy an electric servo-pump for the powersteering, it´s from an Opel Astra 1,6 -02. I´ll try to install it this week.
