How are the front hoses? I used to see a lot of Fords where the inside of the brake hose would collapse and prevent fluid returning properly, so you't think it was a sticking caliper. Maybe worth looking at.
Front hoses seem good yeah. The brake in question was cleaned up when I bought it. Was sticking then. But after that came good till recently. Think as where I live had loads of standing water and one or two pistons don't have seals on them bit of grit..... Awaiting the porsche upgrade.
The front wheels are defo balanced. New tyres the works. Rears I never got checked came with tyres and had weights on them. Never asked Pete if they were balanced to the tyres or if the tyres been changed removed etc...
The front feels good it's the rear shaking like a mad man.
Get them all rebalanced, the rears sound like they are not even balanced at all. You can also check the wheel for run-out or flat spots while its on the balancer but since they are new you'd hope they are round!
Well guess it's to the tyre shop I go. More cold cash for some weights. If it ain't the balance?? Got it all hub centric. What else could it be.. It ran perfect on 16's now it's horrid at times. Makes me drive slower so that's good
Driving home last night had a brisk wot session for an issue to arise.
When shifting to third slight bang or knock coming through the car, the suddenly the car start juddering on boost. But failing to get to 1.4bar on the homefrys is reaching 1.1 wot.
Had similar issue before which was coil related. But worse juddering would reset on ignition. Coils were changed and plugs changed recent.
Don't think a boost leak, it's holding boost sometimes spikes up to 1.3 but mainly around the 1.1 / 1 bar range. I limped it home after trying the engine off and letting it have some time to drive under boost. No change.
So thinking... Trying n75 unplugged. Tighten spark plugs / check. Check coil spark. Wastegate diaphragm would be over boosting not under. Could bad fuel cause juddering and holding back,?
But it's not kangarooing like judder. It's mild and only when boost is on and wot no other times.
I say that to my car as well after lavishing it with goodies here and there, sometimes when I go to the garage to get something I just gently run my hands across it before I leave again.
