I found the wax was coming off a treat. Maybe cause I moved the car in to the garage, had proper light and took my time instead of trying to best the sun setting!! Which you know there is only going to be one winner with that contest.

The polish came off a treat on the sides, but just forever coming back on the roof, think maybe a combo of temp dropping lighting going and my cloth becoming full of polish from the buffing off.

But all in all, very happy so far. I've never been one for doing this amount of work in cleaning a car. But I want to keep this paint work near perfect for another ten years.

But I found it rewarding using my hands running away

Down the beach













A few days hard graft, washing, clay bar, polishing and then waxing.

Has come out a treat, the mirror like finish and the depth in the dark colours.

Think all it's missing is the boot handle which is why I'm thinking it's *** is not quite right . Then get that thing just a tad bit lower

I got the handle dude just need to mod it. But I agree I'm going the whole hog. All the attention to detail.

That's right going to fill up the arches and be mental.

will look at boot handle this weekend. £100 for a tiny bit of plastic. So ill have a mechanism kicking about lol!!! Wish you could just buy the handle separate.

I`ve made some rs mods on my car...
I want to go all the way...missing sideskirts and doortrim...
Not so easy to fix...but i will...sometime

how I'd do it.

Turn the handle over and the reflector bit you see on the car should be held in by pins/screws (ross's ruby rep's handle was) remove them and take off the reflector bit so it doesn't get damaged. Then make up a bracket you can bolt in under the boot lid and clip the handle to that. Just make sure you use a decent grade of metal so the handle don't bounce and then lock tight the clips in
