With that wheel/tyre/brake/suspension combo it looks properly sorted as is, looking forward to seeing some vids of it in action..

Well done Lance, this will be an epic project for sure and it will be awesome to see an avant in competition spec. On paper the avant has a major advantage in the rear suspension, I recon if you can get the front geometry working for you and the weight as low as possible it will be a killer....... truly worthy of a coffin in the back
Which class will you be entering and what is the overall plan for the project in terms of spec?Panthero Coupé quattro 20vt

Cheers Alex.
Propley in semi pro 4wd class. really engine wise all that is left is drysump and a solid lifter kit. have every thing on it or in my workshop to make some big hp.
most of the suspension stuff i have and going to rear mount the rads and vent throu the boot. think i have sussed a cage aswell that is 12 point fia spec.

Going to do a few small bits i think on the airo side. ie big DTM front splitter (go right back to the rear of the gearbox) cannards. poss rear diffuser. but that will be later and when i go testing really.
Luckley i have a set of scales at work i can use....

nice. scales will be really helpful
I think it would be pretty easy to run an almost flat undertray if you can make yourself a nice exhaust tunnel down the passenger side. or even better convert to LHD and run the exhaust over the top of the driveshaft and through the bulkhead and make a tunnel down the right side of the car. then you also ahve more options with somethign like a Sellholm short ratio rack / audi sport rack etc.
I'll be interested to see what you end up running geometry wise with itPanthero Coupé quattro 20vt

Well been a bizzy night.
old brakes removed:
new brakes all mocked up. just got to machine a bracket tomorrow at work
also started on adjustable top mounts.
Lower arms are now fitted. just waiting on ARB bushes. looks like the KW V3's are going to need a rebuild.
Need a pair of gators as mine are just about to split.
