You know when you start one of them jobs and you wish you never!!!!! Started to remove the sound deadening from the boot and there is 2 layers worth. bloody hell that was hard work to remove.
just got to attack it with the petrol now.



shocked how much there is in the **** end and how much of the loom i can lose.

Made light work of that glue in there. Whats next after the cage goes in?

wanna get the battery isolator and fire extinguisher system in.
then it will be time for rear rads and fuel system and dry Sump.

Right well had a super late one tonight.

but all the boot sound deadning is out and finished.



just got to tide up the loom tomorrow and sorted.

Next dash out to get last bits of sound deadning out and heater box ect.

Then just waiting on.the cage.

Perhaps an aftermarket ally rad for Honda? Have been looking at those but did not measure it out yet.

I already have a one off ally rad in the front as i have a aan inlet.

Going to be running a big rad in the boot.

Water inj: Running regular petrol since water inj is needed? No E85 available nearby?

Fuel cooler: Have you measured the fuel temp and found it to be a problem since you fit a cooler?

Have water injection on air temp system. so only used when needed.

Running 3 Bosch 044's the fuel gets very warm (as it uses the fuel passing thou them to cool the pump.)

Good afternoon all.

So sorry for the late update but have been bizzy being a dad and work has been manic.

Well the cage arrived. had a little look and really needed a few small mods to fit.

Had to trim 20mm off the hoop. and put a slight kink in the front leg. was hopping to.get more in today but ran out of gas for the welded and the plazma cutter needs a new tip.



here is a pic of the hoop and front bars in. gotta move the screen bar up an sitting to low now.

Looking good so far.

I'm not keen on the fuel system being in a crumple zone and the "swirl pot" isn't actually a swirl pot due to the fittings being central in the tank.

Cage seems to be working out well though

It is not staying there. was just looking for space ect. going to move it forward more and put the rad right at the back.

I have decided i don't like doing roll cages.

It has been in and out a million times. and it is only just starting to fit.



does make it a lot easyer when your boss lends me a plazma cutter and a pipe bender.

My floor is sold. when i was grinding it looks like it has been galvanized. So no rust any where.
