As a good rule of thumbs, for ever 10mm you move the strut top or bottom, you add 1 degree, so looks like you've moved it about 20mm backwards and sideways, so 2 more degrees of camber and castor seems sensible. You may not want all that camber though.

Have you fitted offset subframe mounts to move the subframe forwards? Could add another degree or so of castor and sit the wheel more centrally in the arch.

If you reverse right and left ball joints on the control arms, so they move to a more forward position, how much should you move the top mounts towards the back of the car so the wheel stays centered in the wheel arch? Has anybody thought about that? And what will be the castor then? If no one has tried, when I have time I will try to calculate it.

swapping the ball joints gives about an extra 6deg of castor but the wheels will foul the arches

Yep, I know, that's why I wrote to ask if someone knows how much the top mounts should be moved back so the wheels return to their original location

Measure the distance from wheel center up to top mount and divide with distance from wheel center down to lower ball joint. This ratio gives the ratio you have to move the top mount back.

Well been a good night up the workshop.

Got most of the sound deafening off the floor. Now time to clean it all off and start to get rid of a bit of loom.
