Well so far all has gone bloody well.

Home made clamp has been made and flattened the turret. just got to weld up the holes and grind off.

Here is a pic with it in place.

                  Good work Lance
what did you use to cut the turret out of interest? The steel is pretty thick and you've made a nice tidy job of it

I used a air saw to cut out 95% of the metal. then a die grinder with a carbide bit to get the last of the metal out then a 20 mm belt sander to finish it off.

Should have it welded up tonight and finished off. then can start on the other side.

The cage is not for a s2. found a cage that is close and only needs a trim on the rear legs to make it fit.

                              Looks nice

Any idea of how much caster you'll be able to get?
Does it raise the ride height(is mounting point lower then std)?

well off the top of my head i think i can gane (on top of std angle) a nuther 18 to 20 degrees if wanted.

will do a proper mesurment on sat when i am back up my workshop,

no the rideheight will stay the same, even tho the camber/castor plate is lower the coilover does not have the std audi top mount any more so give or take it stays the same
