    Looking very good.

On the intercooler, you shouldn't go thinner than a 3 inch (75 mm) core. It looks like you have room for a 3.5" (88 mm) thick core and maybe 4" (100 mm).

Core thickness increases yield a diminishing return after x inches. Better to spend money on more tubes/rows rather than wider or longer ones.

Cool project, the engine looks like a really nice fit in there, sooooo much space at the front!
How low does the sump sit? does it hang lower than the 20vt?

          thanks guys.

I know thicker is better on the ic core and such a small turbo will generate heat. it may not be correct, but most 1.8t's use a 2.5" stacked on the radiator and the bigger turbo guys are using 3" cores.

Just staying cost effective with a 210hp setup. I never intended on the engine swap and this is pulling time/$$$ from the v8cq. Once the 1.8t is all sorted and goes to a few shows, it will be for sale for the next guy to big turbo it.

                    Thanks

I have 12v power at each injector via the green/yellow.
Output tests do not work for injectors.
N80 and N75 click away during output tests.
                    Coil packs fire.
                    Throttle body adapts.
                    Tried 3 557p/n ecu's
Swapped cam position sensor from a running 1.8t

AEB harness grounded to a body ground with ABS. Transmission is grounded to battery ground body stud. coil packs grounded to valve cover and to battery ground body stud.

                    suggestions?

#3 coil pack was dead brand new....swapped out a spare. runs much much smoother now.

                            sits at 202* F at idle 850rpm.
drops down to 199* F at 2300 rpm
Hits 207* F while holding rpm and bouncing the revs for extended periods then cools back down to 202* F

had a bad throttle body days before Southern Worthersee. New used tb came in on Tuesday and the battery was totally dead. First fire since. It was late so I couldn't be too loud. I try to be a nice neighbor.....
