Hold the pinion shaft and tap the rack with a soft hammer
You can't really add parts to make the rack quicker. You can buy a RS2 rack with 2.6 turn ratio or you can buy the 034 short rack but I have heard of problems with them.

    Great work restoring this car

        Thank you for the advice
Its seems like 034 stopped selling the quick steering rack. I can't fint it anymore.
My steering rack got part number: 8A1422065C and RS2 got 895422065C.
Why is it A in the second digit and 9 on the RS2? My car is a 1993" ABY.

I'm trying to repair my rear bumber. I used a dremel and cut a v-shape where the plastic cracked.

It was hard to hold the bumper together after i added glu so i had to drill some holes and use stips.

I got the seal out. I drilled on the corner of the seal and bent it out with pliers.

I got this seal of aswell. When i pushed it the right way out

In relation to the repair of your bumper, look up Wheeler Dealers and have look at how Ed China repaired a navy blue front bumper on a BMW M5 or 840i.

Sorry I can't remember exactly which car it was, but it will help you to repair the bumper. You're on the right track from what I can recall.

Others on here may be able to locate the episode and post a link to the relevant section.

              Regards.

Yes indeed, not sure your link is the right section of the programme, but it is the right car / episode.

                  Thanks.

What is the recommended upgrade to the suspension?
I will be using H&R coilovers, maybe with alu uniball end links.
                        RS2 front stabilisator
Will my car oversteer if i use the RS2 one in the back aswell? My new engine is lighter and shorten so the car will overseer more with no modifications.
                        Or should i use Whiteline/034/H&R?

Are there any difference between the 01E and 01A front subframe?

I got something done this week

                            Got H&R coilovers

                            Inside the crossmember!

                            Cut off and grinded

Cut off the inner fender and mountet the new one with clamps to see how it looked

Tacked the rear left corner in place

Alot of work ahead, but i think i can make it. I got all the panels that i need.

I have done alot of work in the garage, but not so much updating my thread...

As im not as good writing english i will just upload some more pictures!

I made a steel piece and welded this hole in the B-pilar

There was a hole under the c-pilar where the previous owners drilled out a spot weld.

I made a round steel piece and welded.

At the rear corner where the back plate is attaced i had to repair.
Cut out a steel piece and welded it in.

                                Cut out a damaget piece.

                                Welded in a new piece.

I had to bend the rear corner of the back fender to make it fit the new back plate, and the steel shreded because of a bad repair.

Then i had to weld a plate under the hole and fill it.

                                Then grinded clean.
