Around 50 hours under the car and maybe 30-40 in the inside, taking out the asphalt mats.

I've done some more work. 550 hours in to the project now...


Cut away this rusted crap.


Started making the new piece.

I saw a video on Youtube by a fabricator, he hade a copper plate under the holes he welded. So i had to try it.




It worked. Its really easy to weld holes with this method.




I have welded some new studs for fuel line brackets.


Welded from the inside.

I started laying some 2K-Epoxy underneath!








This is the primer that i used.


I also bought 7 cans of elastic underseal! Like the OEM rubberseal.

Good work. I know just how hard removing that is. I spent 3 weekends doing it on my urq.

Update!










Im done with spraying Epoxy and seam sealing.




I had to grind some powder coat where the bushings in going to get them in place.

The car is now at the paint shop!






The car is going to be painted in the engine bay, inside and underneath.




I started cleaning som parts.

Next up is blasting the gearbox and painting it.

Thanks for that ! I guess the headlights are for right hand trafic like norway and finland too ?and they are not even that expensive! Tornadorot sounds nice
